Your trade business is the controller of its notes and invoices. JobProof processes that book to turn a site note into a month-end invoice. This page is how that works today, not legal advice.
JobProof is the day book at jobproof.ie. This notice covers that website and the logged-in product. It is how the product works today, not legal advice. Last updated 11 September 2026.
If you work in a trade business that uses JobProof, that business is the controller of its day book: notes, customers, jobs, hours, and invoices. JobProof processes that book to run the product.
JobProof is the controller of this public website, logins to our own accounts, and any mail you send us about the product.
Account details: name, email, role (on the tools, office, or approver), and a hashed password held by Supabase Auth.
The day book: customers, jobs, site notes (text, voice files, photos), what we read from those notes, confirmations, rates the office set, and invoices.
If someone turns on alerts: a push subscription for that browser. If the business connects WhatsApp or email intake: the inbound message and the sender identity mapped to a worker.
We do not ask for PPS numbers, medical history, or a private phone book. A voice note is still whatever someone chose to say. Keep the note to the job.
To log you in and show the right seat.
To turn a site note into a visit, let the office file what needs a person, and let an approver sign an invoice.
To keep the original note so the office can open it later.
The legal basis for a live account is the contract to run JobProof for that business. For this website it is our legitimate interest in answering a question you sent us.
People in your business, by seat: workers see their own notes. Office sees the book. Approvers see invoices to sign. Workers do not see rates, costs, or margin.
JobProof does not message your customers. Nothing customer-facing leaves with cost, markup, or margin on it.
Processors we use to run the product: Vercel (the app, Dublin), Supabase (logins, database, and files, Dublin), and OpenAI (to read a note). If the business has email or WhatsApp intake switched on, Resend or Meta carry that inbound message. Browser push, if enabled, uses the browser maker's push service.
We do not sell the day book. We do not use it for advertising.
The Irish copy of the day book sits in Dublin. The exception is the read: JobProof sends a note to OpenAI so it can be structured. OpenAI is not in Ireland. OpenAI does not confirm work, set a price, or sign an invoice.
How that call works is on How we use AI.
We keep an account's day book while that business uses JobProof. The original note stays so the office can open it later.
If the business asks us to close the account, we delete or return the book they control, except where we must keep a narrow record of the account itself.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete personal data, or to restrict or object to our use of it, and to take a copy. Start with the office that issued your login. They can also write to us at hello@jobproof.ie.
You can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
JobProof is for people at work. It is not for children.
